I'm not getting notifications

Notifications need permission from the phone and from Tubaar, and either one can be off.

In Tubaar

Settings → Notifications. Each kind — loves, Echoes, comments, new followers, messages, Scene prompts — has its own switch. Messages and Echoes are the ones people most often want and most often find off.

On the phone

• iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Tubaar → Allow Notifications. Check that Lock Screen, Notification Centre and Banners are all on, and that Focus modes aren't silencing the app.
• Android: Settings → Apps → Tubaar → Notifications. Check the app isn't battery-optimised (Settings → Battery → Tubaar → Unrestricted), which is the most common reason alerts arrive hours late.

Guest mode

A guest has no account, so there is nothing to notify. Sign in first.

Muted conversations and Scenes

A muted chat or Scene stays silent even with everything else on. Open it and check the bell in its header.
