Temporary moments that vanish after 24 hours: posting one, who sees it, likes, views and replies.
Stories
A story is a quick photo or clip that disappears after 24 hours. It's the low-pressure side of Tubaar: no caption needed, no Echoes, no public comments.
Posting a story
- Tap your own avatar with the + at the start of the Stories rail, at the top of Pulse.
- Or, when you publish a video from Create, switch on Also share to story.
- Or open a post's share menu and choose Add to story.
Who sees it
Active stories appear on the Stories rail for everyone browsing Tubaar, including people watching without an account. Stories from banned or paused members aren't shown, and people you've blocked don't see yours.
Watching
Tap an avatar on the rail. Stories play one after another, and when one person's stories end, the next person's begin.
Likes, views and replies
- Like a story with the heart. Only the owner sees how many people liked it.
- Views are private too: on your own story you see seen by and the Viewed by list; nobody else does.
- Reply to send the owner a message: it arrives in their Inbox. You can reply only if you can message that person; if not, Tubaar tells you, and Tubaar+ lets you message anyone.
After 24 hours
The story disappears from the rail for everyone. Stories aren't archived.
