Scenes
Communities around an interest, a place or a moment — joining, posting, challenges and moderation.
Scenes
A Scene is a community organised around a shared interest, location, event or activity — Dance Lab, Street Comedy, Kinshasa Fashion, Match Day, French Learners, Food Around Me.
What's in a Scene
- a cover, a description and its moderators
- a video feed of everything posted into it
- prompts and challenges — weekly themes members answer with videos
- a group chat for members
- the option to be local (one city) or worldwide
Following vs joining
Follow a Scene to see its videos in For You more often. Join to post into it, take part in challenges and use the chat. Some Scenes approve members manually; you'll see Requested until they do.
Posting into a Scene
Pick the Scene in the Publish step of Create, or open the Scene and tap its ⊕. Scene posts also appear on your profile unless you post them as Scene only.
Creating a Scene
From the Scenes tab, New Scene. You choose the name, cover, whether it's local or worldwide, and whether joining is open or approved. You become its first moderator and can add others.
Moderation
Moderators can pin, remove posts from the Scene, mute or remove members, and set the weekly prompt. Removing a post from a Scene doesn't delete it from the author's profile. Anything that breaks the Community Guidelines should be reported as well — that reaches Tubaar's moderators, not only the Scene's.
