Watching without an account

Updated 2026-08-21 · Applies to: iPhoneAndroid

What you can do on Tubaar before signing in, and exactly when the app will ask you to.

Watching without an account

Tubaar is guest-first. Open the app and Pulse starts — you don't need an account to watch.

What works as a guest

  • Pulse in card mode and full screen, with the For You and Nearby filters.
  • Opening a video, its Echo chain, its comments and the creator's public profile.
  • Browsing Scenes that are open to everyone.

What asks you to sign in

Anything that creates something or is tied to you: loving a video, posting an Echo, commenting, following, joining a Scene, messaging, saving. Tap one of those and the sign-in sheet appears.

You can dismiss it with Just look around and keep watching. If you do sign in, the thing you tapped completes on its own — you won't have to find the video again.

Why nothing is remembered

A guest has no account, so there is nothing to store: no watch history, no likes, no saved videos. The Following filter is empty until you sign in. See Creating your account when you're ready.
