Full-screen mode

Switching between card mode and full screen, and why your place is kept.

Full-screen mode

Tap a video in Pulse, or choose View full screen from its menu, and the video fills the screen.

In full screen

  • Swipe up or down to move between videos.
  • Love, Echo, open Comments, or Share from the overlay.
  • The top bar has the minimise chevron, a progress indicator and mute.
  • The creator row, caption and audio are overlaid at the bottom.

Going back

Tap the chevron (or swipe down from the top) to minimise. You return to card mode at exactly the video you were on — Tubaar remembers your position both ways, so switching modes never loses your place.

Which should I use?

Card mode is for browsing: more context, the next video in view, the Scene and audio in sight. Full screen is for watching: nothing but the video. Most people move between them constantly, and that's how it's meant to work.
