The app is slow, blank, or crashing

A short order of checks for freezes, blank screens, videos that will not play — and what to send support.

The app is slow, blank, or crashing

Work through these in order. They're arranged cheapest-first.

Close and reopen it

Fully close the app — not just switch away from it — then open it again.

Check your connection

Pulse streams video, so it's the first thing to suffer on a weak connection: a card that never loads, a spinner, or playback that stalls. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If other apps are struggling too, it's the connection.

Settings → Content → Data saver loads lower-quality video on mobile data and is worth turning on if your network is slow or metered.

Update the app

Open the App Store or Google Play and check for an update. Bugs that affect many people are usually fixed within days.

Restart the phone

Worth doing once. It clears memory pressure and stale network state.

Clear the cache — Android only

Settings → Apps → Tubaar → Storage → Clear cache. Do not tap Clear storage / Clear data: that signs you out and wipes local drafts.

Free up space

A nearly full phone fails in ways that look random — failed uploads, crashes when opening the camera, videos that won't play. Check your storage before assuming it's the app.

Uploads that never finish

A video keeps uploading in the background as long as the app is open. Leaving the app mid-upload on a weak connection is the usual cause of a video stuck at Processing. Open Create → drafts; it will either resume or offer to retry.

Only reinstall as a last resort

Reinstalling signs you out, means requesting a new sign-in code, and deletes unpublished drafts. Do it only if the app fails at launch.

If this didn't help, tell support

Email support@tubaar.com. What actually helps:

  • iPhone or Android, plus the phone model
  • the app version (Settings, at the bottom)
  • which screen it happens on, and whether it's every time or occasional
  • what you see — blank, frozen, an error, or the app closing
  • a screenshot or screen recording if you can
