Getting Baar
Buying Baar in the app or on the web, how the packages work, and what to do when a payment goes wrong.
Getting Baar
You can buy Baar in the app or on the web, and both fill the same wallet. Whichever you use, the Baar are there the moment the payment is confirmed.
In the app
Open Me → Baar → Get Baar. Payment goes through the App Store or Google Play, with whatever card or account you already use there, and the store's own sheet confirms it.
If you do not see the purchase screen, buying is not open on your platform yet. Nothing is wrong with your account, and the web is still there.
On the web
The wallet page sells the same packages, paid by card or, in the DRC, by Mobile Money. The web usually gives more Baar for the same money, because the app stores take a share of every sale they process.
Choosing a package
Packages start at one dollar. Larger packages give more Baar per dollar, and the best rate is marked so you do not have to work it out. The exact number of Baar and the exact price are always shown before you pay.
If money left and no Baar arrived
Wait a moment and reopen the wallet: a slow confirmation is the usual cause, and Tubaar adds the Baar as soon as it hears from the store or the payment provider. Reopening the app finishes a purchase that was interrupted.
If a purchase genuinely failed, you are not charged. Where money did leave your account for a failed purchase, it is refunded automatically — you do not need to ask.
If the Baar have still not arrived after that, contact support with the date and the amount, and do not buy the same package again in the meantime.
